Fluke DSX-8000 tester
On this page, we are going to review the Fluke DSX-8000 test device, the new masterpiece of the FLUKE brand, from Fiberoptic and Network Bank. First, we will provide a short explanation about what the Fluke test device is, and then we will review the Fluke DSX-8000 tester.
?What is a fluke test
The fluke test is one of the tests to measure the correctness of the links and evaluate the faults and defects related to cabling and network connections by the fluke device. Performing this test provides technicians with complete information about network cable and fiber optic cable and nodes, including keystones and other network equipment.
Fluke DSX-8000 tester
The Fluke DSX-8000 tester is the latest device of the famous Fluke company, which is located in Germany and is a subsidiary of the Danaher company. Compared to its previous versions, such as DTX-1800 and DSX-5000, this tester has other extraordinary features such as CAT8 cable testing for the first time. This tester is the first dedicated cat8 cable tester that can test up to 2 GHz.
Fluke DSX-8000 also provides us with the possibility of testing copper network cables (cat) up to 40 gigabits, which includes testing all cabling and terminating of network cables Cat6, Cat6a, Cat7, Cat7a, Cat8, Cat8.1, Cat8.2, Cat3, Cat4 It is Cat5, Cat5e.
One of the features of the fluke DSX-8000 device is the dedicated cloud space that is free as an option inside the device, which allows the network operator to store all the tests performed and its information in the cloud service.
Another feature of Fluke DSX8000 is control and monitoring of work and checking of test sheets remotely.
Important features of the Fluke Networks Versive Cable Analyzer DSX-8000
Quick and easy setup
Faster testing
Reduce mistakes
Faster reporting
Accurate troubleshooting
Using the ProX™ system, you enter the details that you want to test once into the device settings and perform measurements for different projects with the entered definitions .The test time in Cable Analyzer DSX-8000 is equal to 8 seconds for 6A Class EA series and 15 seconds for CAT8 Class I/II cable series.
Cable Analyzer is designed to eliminate errors, as we mentioned, a series of definitions are entered into the device’s memory and tests are performed according to them .In the fluke dsx8000 tester, there is no need to use a memory card to receive reports. As mentioned above, the free dedicated cloud space frees the operator from using an external memory card and allows the project manager to view the results through Link ware PC. View the DSX Cable Analyzer uploaded to the Link Ware Live cloud service.
In the DSX8000 model, with HDTDR and HDTDX troubleshooting technology, the duration of troubleshooting and error detection in cabling and networking has been greatly reduced. In this type of fluke tester model, it is much easier to work with the device due to the presence of a touch screen, and due to the possibility of graphically displaying the results of troubleshooting, it is much easier.
In the table below, we show the difference between the Fluke DSX5000 and DSX8000 testers.
