DSX-CHA804 CAT8 channel test adapter
The fluke test is one of the tests to measure the correctness of the links and evaluate the faults and defects related to cabling and network connections by the fluke device. Performing this test provides technicians with complete information about the network cable and fiber optic cable and nodes, including keystones and other network equipment.Among the equipment related to the Fluke DSX-8000 tester, we can refer to the DSX-CHA804 CAT8 channel test adapter, which is used to test the network channel.

Fluke channel test
Fluke test device includes two modules that can be used as cable input.
In the channel test, we connect the two ends of the network cables to the Fluke tester through the device’s own modules and perform the test.
This test is one of the simple examples of the copper network cable test, because the existing modules are the fabric of the device and connect the cables to the device perfectly.
The superiority of the permanent test to the channel test
As we mentioned above, the permanent test is more real and reliable than the channel test. Because the channel test is performed in ideal conditions (with the device fabric module), but the permanent test is performed in more realistic conditions (with the network keystone).
A cable that passes the permanent test must also pass the channel test, but it may not work the other way around. This means that almost most cables pass the channel test.
