Shahid Ghandi optical fiber 36 core
This type of 36-core OBUC fiber optic cable has a sheath structure with aramid yarn (stretch fibers) and moisture-absorbing thread and tape to prevent water penetration. Due to being a sheath and tensile fibers of Aramid Yarn, OBUC fiber optic cable is suitable for installation inside the duct or sub-duct. OBUC cables are mostly for urban use.

OBUC cable structure
36-core single-mode cable structures according to Table 4, which are shown below.
description | title |
Single-mode optical fiber has the ITU G652 standard. These optical fibers are coded based on color and work well in a wide range of temperatures from -40 to +80 degrees Celsius. | 3-1- optical fiber |
Tubes of color-coded PBT tubes contain 1 to 12 optical fibers filled with thixotropic jelly. This jelly is free of any dirt and non-toxic metal particles that do not pose any skin hazards. | 3-2- buffer |
Non-metallic central resistant element (FRP) with a minimum average diameter of 2.5 mm. | 3-3- Central resistant |
The tonsils are wrapped with a left and right rotation around the central resistant nucleus. PP or HDPE fillers may be used in the cable structure to match the tube tube with the central element. | 3-4- Core |
A sufficiently thick layer of polyester tape surrounds the lozenge tubes longitudinally. | 3-5- Polyester tape |
Two Yarn on both sides of the cable diameter are placed on the moisture absorbing tape and under the initial cover, and two Yarn are placed on the steel strip and under the outer cover. Peeling yarn should be strong and flexible enough to cut tape or polyethylene. | 3-6- yarn |
A black LDPE coating in accordance with ASTM D-1248 is placed on the peeling yarn. And the average thickness of the coating is 1.5 mm. | 3-7- Primary coating |
A corrugated steel strip that covers the entire surface of the original coating. This layer acts as an anti-rodent. The overlap of the tape should not be less than 3 mm. | 3-8- Armor |
A black HDPE coating in accordance with ASTM-D1248 covers the steel strip. The average thickness of the coating is 2 mm. | 3-9- Outer / outer cover |
Cable size and general cable information
The size of the cables and general information are as follows in Table 5, respectively.
Parameter | N 4*6 |
The number of fibers in the tubes | ۴ |
The fibers of each tube | ۶ |
Fibers Count | ۲۴ |
Powerful central member (mm) | ۲.۵ |
Tensile force (N) | ۲۸۰۰ |
Overall diameter (mm) in performance | ۱۷ |
Overall diameter (mm) in the installation | ۱۷ |
Weight (kg / km) | ۲۶۵ |
Note: The tensile force may increase with increasing amount of aramid yarn.
Identification marks
Each length of cable is regularly identified by the manufacturer, year of manufacture, number of tubes, fiber optics of each tube and type of cable. These writings are printed and written on the final cover.
