OFO 48 core fiber optic OBUC cable
OBUC 48-core OFO optical fiber cable is an advanced loose-tube tube with a filament core and fibers with outstanding optical and geometric properties. Cables are completely resistant to water and moisture. Single mode OBUC cable can be buried directly. It is possible to stretch and run in the duct or places that have outdoor cable trays.
OFO 48 core fiber optic OBUC cable
Extremely strong structure
Resistance to rodents and insects
Easy preparation of OBUC single-mode ground cable, even in mid-span
Blocking against moisture to increase craft productivity
SZ thread for easy mid-span connection
Flexible buffer tubes allow easy fiber routing inside
No bending axis preferred for easy cable handling, coil storage, figure eight, etc
OBUC single mode ground cable and structure design
Central resistant element: fiber reinforced plastic (FRP rod) 2.5 mm minimum diameter
Core protection against moisture: water blocking thread around the FRP rod
Loose tube and fiber: polybutylene terephthalate (PBTP) filled with thixotropic gel
Stranded cable core: loose tubes with FRP surrounding stranded fibers
Resistance member: glass thread
Core packing: water blocking tape
Ripcord: 2 numbers under inner sheath and 2 numbers under steel tape
Inner Sheath: 1.5mm (nominal) Black Ultraviolet Resistant Polyethylene (LDPE) Sheath
Cable armouring: corrugated steel strip
Outer Sheath: HDPE Sheath – 2.0mm (Name) Black
