This 9 micron (OS2) fiber optic cable is made with Corning glass fiber and consists of a simplex LC/UPC male connector on one end and a simplex SC/APC male connector on the other end. This Simplex Singlemode 9/125 Fiber Patch Cable provides fast, clear signal transmission throughout your local area network with a higher bandwidth than multimode cable for up to twice the throughput. It’s designed for network equipment that requires singlemode fiber-optic patch cables and SC/APC (Angled Physical Contact) connectors and has attenuation loss that meets or exceeds current standards and is manufactured to exacting specifications for optimal network performance. It is manufactured using top-quality materials, has 9/125 simplex fiber made from glass instead of a polymer and sturdy LC/UPC and SC/APC connectors. It also has a low-smoke zero-halogen (LSZH) jacket, which limits the amount of toxic smoke emitted in case of combustion and is perfect for poorly ventilated areas.
